Ten photographers were asked for their authentic vision of Banksy’s ‘Laugh now’ (2002). Inspired by this piece, the creatives produced work reflecting elements of Darwin’s theory of evolution, the balance of power, and humans in general.

The exhibition shines a light on the upcoming generation of Dutch photographers. With MOCO museum as a partner as well as being the host of the exhibition, the photographers had the opportunity to showcase their pieces amongst the work of Banksy himself. Especially for this exhibition, MOCO museum opened its doors free of charge to provide a platform for these young creatives and make their work accessible to a wider audience.
